The U.S. men’s national team is wrapping up the second leg of its January training camp, which has been spent getting a dry run in Brazil at the Sao Paulo FC facilities that the team will use as its base during this summer’s World Cup.

While in Sao Paulo at the Barra Funda training ground, the U.S. men continued to practice under Jurgen Klinsmann and scrimmaged their host club twice while also taking in all other logistical aspects of the area in preparation for the summer.

In a way like the 2009 FIFA Confederations Cup provided a glimpse into what life in South Africa the following summer would be like for the U.S. men in 2010, the Brazil experience provided a valuable look ahead for the members of the U.S. camp that eventually make the World Cup roster.
